How It All Began
Vanessa & Adam
—
Vanessa and Adam met at a business ethics class at NYU Stern in 2016. By the end of the semester, Adam invited Vanessa to his Christmas party in his apartment in LIC, where chemistry grows and love brews. In the early days, our dates consist of Sunday brunch with live jazz band in Harlem, ice skating at Bryant Park, standup comedy shows in Midtown and many other adventures in the city that never sleeps. One night in East Village, we said “I love you” to each other at the exactly same moment.
On June 22, 2020, We got officially married in China while living in Shanghai. Due to the pandemic, we didn’t get to have a wedding celebration with our friends and family.
Eight years later, we're still best friends, true loves, and badass partners in life. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people we cherish the most at our wedding!
And the rest is history.
Just for two
this quiet morning avenue
Last night
New York City sang our song
in midnight blue as we danced along
Now Sunday morning brownstones rise,
Sun light turns to kiss your eyes.
We met sipping coffee near Washington Square,
all the time in the world with room to spare.
Your smile, your lips, vibrations embrace.
My hand touched moonlight upon your face.
A ray of light moves through your window pane.
Life with or without you will never be the same
Think I’ll skip work for a new kind of play.
It’s just a New York kind of day.
Just for two.
The way your eyes meet mine
A new day begins to shine.
Just for two. Ah, just two.
